As cofounder, worked with a team to develop the concept for a news and culture magazine that has become a must-read publication for the next generation of Asian Americans. Established the magazine’s editorial voice and departments, and built a volunteer staff to produce a stylish print magazine, dynamic web site, and well-attended community events. As board chair, provide organizational guidance and support to a 50-member staff. Most recently, led the organization to develop its first strategic plan, which will result in a robust digital presence, increased multimedia storytelling, and innovative strategies for community engagement.
